I'm so blessed to be able to not only stay at home with our 3 Blessings, but to also teach them at home! God and my Beloved are so WONDERFUL! I couldn't do it without either one of them!

We have been hitting the school work hard since the New Year has started. We started out slow at the begining of the year with Blessing #3 being born and our Marine coming home from his deployment. It's so great to have him home and helping with our schooling! He is such a BLESSING, even when he doesn't know it! It's so AWESOME to see him teach our kids without even knowing he's doing so! =)

Our oldest, Little Monkey, will be 5y/o in a few wks. He is breezing through this K5 work. Every math "test" he's taken he's pretty much got 100% on. The only time he gets an answer wrong is when he is lazy and writes a number backwards. Other than that he gets all the answers, but handwriting is a part of it. When we get him to slow down he does PERFECT! He's perfected vowels and consonants, writing and reading. He's begining to spell and read on his own! Soon we will be starting on Blends and Special Sounds. His weakest thing is his handwriting. I can't blame him though he didn't get the best genes for that as my Beloved and I have horrible hand writing! ;)

Our oldest DD, Princess JoJo, is 20mns. She has so much against her right now. She was diagnosed with hypotonia at 12mns. Which means that from her head to her toes she has weak muscle tone and ligaments. She has only been walking on her own for 3mns and up until the past week or so she has had to constantly wear SMOs to walk well enough to not fall every few steps. She has started to talk in the past couple of weeks, which is a REAL Blessing! She is up to 15 Spontaneous words now! She still has a long ways to go and has many barriers to confront and come through. She has been in PT for 8mns, OT for 3mns and Speech for 3mns. These things have helped and been such a wonderful BLESSING! On top of that she sees a Ped Neurologist and Ped Orthopedist. She is soon to be seeing a Developmental Ped to have an ASD eval and some genetic testing done. We are in the process of have a chromosome test done as well, but we can't seem to get a vein to get blood from. Praying that in the next wk when her Dr Apt is that God will allow the nurses to find a vein to draw blood from and it won't be painful or traumatising! It's a joy to be able to help along her process of development, though I find it challenging at times b/c she's not like Little Monkey, she's so far behind where he was at this age and b/c I'm not sure what she understands it make it more challenging. She also has such a hard time staying on anyone activity, this is something we are constantly working on. So Homeschooling Princess JoJo is definetly not the same, which is all the more reason why I love Homeschooling. There is no EXACT way to teach a child and it's GREAT to be able to change that style and what you do to the child and not go by age and what she SHOULD be doing!

Our Smallest Blessing is DD #2, Jelly Bean. She is 4mns today. She is growing so fast. She's the smallest of the bunch, being born at 8lbs 3oz. She is super long, but not very chunky at all. At least not for one of our Blessings. It's nice to have her be so small, it makes it seem like she is staying a baby longer. Though she is moving along quite fast with her development! Though we don't exactly do any kind of Homeschooling with Jelly Bean, we do do things that are helping her learn and develop. She loves to talk and she has been a GREAT big help in getting Princess JoJo to talk more and to be more affectionate!

I'm so WONDERFULLY Blessed!
