Gifts from the Wise Men: Storytelling Props

Well this week we'll be teaching on the Three Wise Men, and I thought I'd share with you all how our gift boxes turned out. I used the video featured here to make these boxes and the size of the paper I used was 12 x 12 " scrapbooking paper. (For the bottoms of the boxes I cut off a half of an inch on both sides so they would be a bit smaller and fit underneath the tops of the boxes)

Inside the boxes I placed a realistic photograph of the different presents given to Jesus. Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh. I thought that maybe others would want to do the same so I've uploaded the files and you can print a large or small version of them here. The small version has multiple sets, so you can use them with children who want to make their own boxes, or if you want children to take a set from the boxes as you retell the story.
