We've been extra busy on
our Homeschooling blog, and since this one has a Christian Lesson that you can use in your classroom as well, I figured I'd better post about it over here too!
Last week we made these really neat Red Heart Robins, and worked on the lesson of God's love, and his gift of providing for us. If you want…

I have recently found a book called Dear Princess. And in just the first 2 chapters I found myself repenting of poutiness, selfishness, and envy! YIKES! And I was only proofreading to get started reading this to my oldest daughter. I called my husband to apalogize. He thinks I'm nuts! Oh well, the Lord knows my inner heart and Now I know to look for these little grape stealing foxes when they pop up! Praise the Lord for His tender mercies!
I think I would like to try to make some sort of projec…

This morning I feel fulfilled. Both my husband and I went to the hospital to visit one of my 4 year old pupil who was accidentally been ran down by a car. Thank God, she was now safe amindst the bruises and a large wound in her knee cap which was operated last night. The news came to me only this morning and because of that we have to cancel my class picture taking sessions for our moving up ceremony come this March 20. The mother told me that this morning her daughter kept on urging her that sh…

If you're looking for a cute little Valentine's Day gift you can send your children home with, don't forget to check out ChristianBook.com, they have fantastic deals on Christian books and educational resources. Today I found this set of 10 Board books for only $7.99 (That even beats the dollar store). The books are published by Zonderkids, and have a great Christian undertone to them. (The secret valentine is the child's grandmother), and the books are just the right size for children to carry…

I'm so blessed to be able to not only stay at home with our 3 Blessings, but to also teach them at home! God and my Beloved are so WONDERFUL! I couldn't do it without either one of them!
We have been hitting the school work hard since the New Year has started. We started out slow at the begining of the year with Blessing #3 being born and our Marine coming home from his deployment. It's so great to have him home and helping with our schooling! He is such a BLESSING, even when he doesn't know it…

For those of you, who like me, are not even close to finished Christmas Shopping, I wanted to do a quick post and tell you about one of our favorite toys at our house.....
Creation Globes! They are played with on a daily basis, and the children never seem to tire of taking them apart and putting them back together again.

I was just able to take a photo of the Christmas presents my kids made for family members this year. Sissy (5) did the heart ornaments and Bubba (3) did the gingerbread ornaments. They were plain white plaster ornaments from Joann's fabrics (very inexpensive at about a qua…

I am a Jr. Church teacher and an instructor in our kids program on Wednesday nights. I would like to get each child in my classes something small for Christmas. I am just wondering what other are doing that might inspire me. Last year they each got the Cookie in a Jar idea. Instead of using jars I put the different elements in ziploc bags and labeled them with numbers and then typed up the recipe using the coordinating numbers.
I look forward to hearing ideas that others have. Thank you all in…
