just a quick note re: a couple websites. My 6yr old son (and 4 yr old daughter) love www.starfall.com . It has three levels of "reading" from Alphabet recognition, to beginning phonics, and on to the beginning reader. It is fun & easy for them to use. Colorful, musical, silly, and also has many printable downloads for related worksheets & games. More specifically for you to expore if you're interested is the website www.irlen.com . I am familiar with it through two other homeschool families in my area. The mom's and several of their children wear colored lenses (not corrective lenses) which filter and help clarify their vision. This is a method that is being used with success for kids & adults that have dyslexia, autism, add, etc. I'm looking into it now for my son. There is a informational workship that I will be attending this Thursday in fact.
Blessings to you & your family today!

Hello Janet,
Ruston is between Monroe and Shreveport, a small town compared to Phoenix. Where we moved from. We joke that if or old church in Phx doubled, it would be larger than Ruston (which really is true!!!).
7 children!?! Wow, that is wonderful! We are unable to have more, although have been praying that if it is the Lord's will, let us adopt. I would love to have another set of twins.
I also noticed we are the same age. I turned 40 about 4 months ago. I can't believe I have hit that milestone and it doesn't even feel as though I am that mature (not old....mature? not sure if that is the right word either, ha, ha).
