I am a 56 year old Wife and Mother of 3. I work with the AWANA group at our church teaching the kindergarten class. I have been married 38 years (soon to be 39) and the picture I placed here is from our 30th wedding anniversary. I love working with the kids and wish I could do more.

Lot's of breaks in Awana's lately huh! First Halloween, now Thanksgiving, soon Christmas! Are you doing anything special for the holiday?

Yeah, there's probably no relation, but my husbands family is mostly Irish. It's just funny how people can look alike isn't it, especially in pictures!

You sure know alot about your history, Wish I knew that much about mine! We've got one family member who is doing the whole geneology thing, but we've yet to dig into her findings!

Wow, that is a bit confusing isn't it! I can remember them saying that there were extra workbooks even for cubbies, but I thought....we already do so much activities at home, I just don't think I want her to be pressured with an additional verse each week! We're going to go for the "apple trees" this year lol.

btw- I'm looking at your picture and you two look like a nice couple! I had to do a second take because you look like my husbands parents! (I'm 25) the resemblence is funny :) caught me off guard! Like you could be their cousins or something! (your not McClintick's are you? lol)

Jackie- What level of the Awana's are the Kindergartners? Is that sparkies or cubbie?

I did Awana Cubbies last year when my daughter entered her first year, It was a lot of work! This year we're taking a bible study on marriage enrichment by Dr. Emerson, but next year I'll probably do cubbies again? It was a whole lot of energy but the kids say the cutest things, and it's so wonderful to watch them learn about Jesus!
