Jeremiah 29:11-13 "I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans of joy and not of harm. I will give you hope for the years to come. Then you will call out to Me. You will come and pray to Me. And I will listen to you. When you look for Me with all your heart, you will find Me."

Thank you so much Beth, for the info. We have discovered starfall.com - he loves it. He dances to the songs, etc. I will surely look into the lenses. That does sound very much worth checking out!!
Thanks again - Have a great week! Janet from California
Hi! Just getting around to using my computer again. This week went so fast. And what about this snow, I'm sick of it. We are just finishing the free penguin lapbook. It worked well with all the kids, but the older ones I made research penguin anatomy instead of the label picture. It also worked out great with our English as we just did a section on Mr. Popper's penguins. Also our Creation magazine had an article about Emperior Penguins and Feb. Zoobook was on penguins. I feel we all learned alot. Also on the penguin pictures they found facts on height, weight , and where the penguins live, and also an interesting fact.
We only do lapbooks together as a group. The oldest two are only 1 year apart so I teach them at the same grade level, it saves time.
So far we are well although my sisters little ones have influensa A, they are very sick, pray for them.
Talk to you latter.

Hi! I'm new to this too(blog thing). Also leary of online stuff and such. I've been watching this site and the lady that runs it Valerie seems nice and honest.
We are new to lapbooking also but we've done two now. One on astronomy and are working on the penquin one that is free through this site. I'm hoping to connect our schooling of the pre-1st with the older kids. I feel sometimes the little ones get left out. Hopefully lapbooking with a few changes (make some harder for older kids) will help. Love your key verse, I almost chose that one too. But my focus this year is trying to hold my self , family, and home school more accountable. My verses talk about how loved we are and being set apart and taking on good qualities. Hopefully they will encourage others too.
