I just discovered this website and I am so
impressed with lapbooking!!!!
Do you think I can do it with my 2 1/2 years old?
He is very advanced for his age.
What would you recommend?

Hi Valerie! I am new to the website too and like you, I am loving the lapbooks! My daughter has just turned 3 this past December and we did a very simple lapbook in Sunday School and worked on one together with her older sister at home. She has to be guided quite a bit, but she loves to do activities and to color. Her work is mostly scribbling, but she has surprised me with a couple of things we did! I would highly recommned doing a lapbook with your child. It is a blast.

Hi Valerie, I love your name, so pretty :)

My son is 2 1/2 and he does a lapbook right alongside big Sissy, he'd probably throw a fit if I didn't let him make one to!

You could use the Letter of the Week resources here and compile them into a lapbook http://www.letteroftheweek.com

Or let your child do a color lapbook....hand them a magazine and let them cut out green thing and make a collage inside....learn about Noah's ark, and St. Patrick's Day with Rainbows ect......

My son likes to use stickers, so sometimes I just hand him a sheet of stickers and let him peel them off and decorate a lapbook. This is great for fine motor skills too!

Hope that inspires you a little?

In Christ,

Valerie

Hi, I love your web site! I found it when searching for Sunday school ideas for 4-5s. Thank you for all the inspiring ideas. I also use them when working with a small group of special needs adults. GLT
