Church members and friends can donate items or services. Some examples might include:

a certificate for a home cooked meal
a container of homemade cookies or another homemade dessert
a handmade piece of clothing or other craft item
a certificate for an afternoon of yard work
a certificate for a music lesson
recipe cards

and so on...

There can be a binder where people can peruse the items and write down their names and bids.
