Hi hope everyone is doing good?
Just wanted to ask if anyone has any craft ideas for 2 and 3 yrs olds, I recently started a Sunday School class in my church for those ages, but it seems kind of hard to get their attention and to have them make crafts because really they can't use scissors and they get distracted or bored easily, if anyone has any ideas or suggesstions I would greatly appreciate them. Thank you and God Bless YOU guys!!

When I taught this age group I used a lot of stickers or had everything cut out ahead of time for them to glue on. I would also print a verse on my computer (or something that let the parents know what we learned). I would print a whole page of the same verse & cut it out for the kids. You could just write the verse on each paper, but I had 30-35 kids so that was too time consuming. For example, when we did Day 4 of creation, I gave each child black construction paper & a sheet of gold star stickers (the cheap ones that teachers used to use) and a slip of paper for them to glue on that said "God created the stars on day 4". You would not believe how long that kept them busy & how much they enjoyed it. You could also use this for the story of Abraham. DLTK-Bible.com has a lot of great ideas for this age group too.

We used to play a little game the kids loved that goes perfectly for Noah's Ark. I would say "I want to be a ______" call out an animal & then all the kids would act it out for about 20 seconds. Then you ask a child "What do you want to be?" And he can reply "I want to be a ___________" then all the kids act out that animal. Keep going until all the kids have had a chance to call out an animal. Very simple but they used to love doing this. You can also sing "Our old Noah build an ark, eieio, and on that ark he had a _____" Obviously to the tune of Old McDonald.
